The male is the power of air and fire. His is the power of the hurricane and volcano. The female is the power of water and earth. Hers is the power of the rain and of growing things. The male is impressive with his active blaze and bluster yet the female passive, silent and patient, like the glacier extinguishing a wildfire, is far and away the more powerful of the two.
